hi, i did my placement at Mesty croft in around 2004/2005, i rmemeber teachers like miss heart, mr pye, the small lady with curly brown hair from shropshire i think she was, was so lovely, used to be the early yrs teacher i think. I rmemeber children like branden carson, rajan, naive or soemthing i cant spell her name and a few others, just thought the school was fantastic and the staff exactly the same and the children, well they jus speak for themselves :-D

Hello Charlotte! Greetings from Australia! How are you? I believe you also used to attend Mesty Croft Primary School? Great School hey? I am very happy to answer any questions you might have about Australia, just ask away... I can tell you that it gets very very hot in Summer, we had one day of 46o Celsius in January this year, phew that was a cooker.
It's winter at the moment and we are having some lovely rain. We are in the middle of a drought at the moment and our dam's are very, very low. But when you live in the driest continent in the world you shouldn't expect a lot of rain really should you?
Charlotte, if the webmaster says it's OK and your parents agree, then I am more than happy to answer any questions you have.

Hello everyone, I was a pupil at Mesty Croft Primary School from about 1962 to 1966 I think, I can't remember the exact dates because I'm really old now!

I live in Perth Western Australia now and have done since 1968 when I was 10.

I came back to England in December 2006 to see my family and visit the places where I grew up. Mesty Croft Primary was high up on my list of priorities and it came as a big shock as the school I knew had been knocked down and a lovely new school built!

I wonder if anyone can tell me when the old school was demolished?

Are there any old pictures of the old school stored away somwhere? I'd love to see them!

My Mother was born in Corporation Street in Wednesbury in 1927, so she's 82 now and lives with me and my husband Steve.

I was born in Woden Road East in 1958 and would like to know if anyone at the school lives in either of those streets now?

I am so happy to have found your website and really hope that someone can help me with my questions. And if anyone has questions about Australia, I shall do my best to help you too!

I hope you don't mind me borrowing your site like this but it would be marvellous to hear from you...

I am in year 5 at Mesty Croft and I think it is the BEST school ever, plus i think that the website is fantastic! I am very sad when Mr Simner left but I think Mr Taylor is just as nice.

I used to go to Mesty Croft, and now i sit in my year 11 classes at Wood Green. In this present state of boredom, i thought i would take a look at the school website!! I miss those days of being an eleven year-old - after spending my whole primary school education 'locked' in those classrooms! The fun of it all!!
